I feel as if i’m pretty much insane
I have a large list of phobias that I suffer from so I decided to make a separate page containing the information about what I suffer from and a bit of information on each one. If you’ve come from my About Me page you already know I suffer from severe anxiety, social anxiety, depression, paranoia and a suspected body dysmorphic disorder.
I’m going to gradually update this as i find this an extremely stressful anxiety filled task to do. The first couple of phobias listed are my more severe and have more impact on my life, while the last listed come and go depending on what situation i am in at the time.
For example i suffer from Entomophobia which is the fear of insects/bugs, Lepidopterophobia which is the fear of specifically butterflies, Mottephobia the fear of moths and obviously Arachnophobia which is the fear of spiders.
I haven’t even started properly listing my phobias yet and you probably already think i’m insane but anyway
These phobias affects me more in the summer but not in the winter. Because obviously though i still suffer in the winter, summer seasons increase the amount of bugs around so it’s more likely to change my everyday life.
Also if anyone has any advice or needs any advice or has more information on any of the phobias listed feel free to comment below!
so yeah i’ve been putting this off..
Emetophobia: This is the phobia of sick, being sick, vomiting, being around people being sick, hearing people being sick, people seeing you being sick, seeing physical sick. This phobia caused my phobia Didaskaleinophobia the fear of school or fear of going to school as did Decidophobia the fear of making decisions and
lets get personal Defecaloesiophobia the fear of painful bowel movements and excessive fear of criticism. I also developed Iatrophobia – Fear of going to the doctor or doctors.
- Odontophobia – Fear of teeth or dental surgery.
Spectrophobia: This is the phobia of mirrors, reflections and includes the phobia of spirits. This also causes me to have a fear of windows and fear of looking out them at night, fear reflections in windows/tvs, Eisoptrophobia which is the fear of your own reflection, and fear of doorways/archways. I also suffer from the phobia of being watched.
When entering a room i have to look for a mirror or window, and i have to sit in the corner of the room so i can see everything. I cannot sleep if there’s a mirror in the room.
Nyctophobia: This is the phobia of the dark/what’s in the dark.
I am unable to be in a room without the light on, and i cannot sleep in a room without a light on the same as mirrors. When entering a room i have to make sure i can see every corner of a room before feeling comfortable. This is also to do with my phobia of being watched.
Monophobia: Phobia of being alone. Eremophobia: morbid dread of being alone and Thanatophobia the fear of death and dying alone
Phobia of being unloveable.
Phobia of never being good enough.
Phobia of large places. Like to opposite Claustrophobia which is the fear of confined spaces which i also suffer from, but for some reason since i was little when i used to go shopping with my mum or dad in a big shop like tesco or sainsburys i used to gradually start to feel extremely sick.
Phobia of people. Phobia of being seen and judged. Obviously alot is this is to do with my social anxiety disorder. I also suffer from Agoraphobia which covers many things such as fear of public places, open spaces, fear of being in situations where escape, fear of leaving the house which affects my life every single day, basically every single social situation possible. I literally only leave my house once a week to go to my grandmas as that environment is comfortable for me because of these phobias. Also i suffer from Catagelophobia the fear of being ridiculed and Gelotophobia the fear of being laughed at.
Phonophobia: Which is the phobia of loud noises.
Atychiphobia: – Fear of failure/failure in life.
Automatonophobia: Which is a fear of anything that falsely represents a sentient being, such as ventriloquist’s dummies, animatronic creatures, wax statues. I understand this is a strange one, but i remember going to London and going into a Disney shop there. And i remember seeing these stairs that go down and above the stairs there were these plastic figures that looked like girls and it seriously freaked me out. Now i also suffer Bathmophobia, the fear of slopes or stairs, Climacophobia, the fear of climbing stairs
i warned you i have alot of phobias and falling downstairs, public embarrassment and large/heavy objects falling on my head/high things, objects/buildings will fall on me and Batophobia the phobia of being close to high buildings.
